The MCCNY Tri-State Scholarship was established in 1991 in response to the decision that Mills would remain a women’s college. Building on an alumna’s anonymous donation of $50,000, the club has directed all proceeds from our fundraising to the scholarship, and many club members have likewise restricted their annual gifts. The scholarship endowment now stands at $636,721.00, with a payout of $25,873.00 for the 2018/2019 academic year. To date it has provided assistance to 46 students from Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York. Scholarship money is the lifeblood of Mills, and we are committed to continue building the endowment to help young women from our area experience all that Mills has to offer.
